If you’re wondering how to ship cookies during the hot summer months, yes you can! Feel free to bake all the cookies you want to send as gifts, but you’ll need to know how with a few simple mailing tips that I’ll mention below.
How Do You Ship Cookies?
- Make sure your cookies cool to room temperature before packing.
- Be careful shipping cookies with frosting. Try shipping the baked cookies and a tube of ready made frosting as a kit instead.
- Plastic wrap each cookie in a bubble wrap bags.
- Use an airtight container for packing the cookies.
- If you ship different types of cookies, stack the heavier ones at the bottom, with smaller and lighter ones on top. Fill empty space with tissue paper.
- Place the containers with cookies into a foam cooler box along with a few frozen freezer packs to keep everything cool during shipping.
