Cookies and summer are two of my favorite things!
I love that during summer we get to spend more time as a family, go on summer vacation, bake together and play with our kids. Baking and decorating dessert is not really my cup of tea. I do like to find simple, quick and fun cookie recipes. My girls love to help, and eating the cookie dough is their favorite thing to do!
Check out some of my favorite easy summer cookie recipes I have tried in the past.
These fruit cookies by Seven7House are so easy and simple for summer! I love them…I can handle these 🙂
It is so hot here in Arizona. I love the idea of these no bake cookies because the house gets so hot when the oven is on. These yummy Chocolate Peanut Butter No Bake Cookies are via Foodnetwork.com. They would be great to bring as a dessert to a summer BBQ! No hot cookies… brilliant!
You can never go wrong with chocolate chip brownie cookies. These chocolate cookies from Dassant.com require a few ingredients and they are quick to make. It’s my kind of baking 🙂
Cinnamon sugar cookies are my most favorite. I can eat these all day! I am excited to try these cookies from Kitchen Daily.
Are you hosting a summer party? These adorable 1-2-3 sandals cookies from Family Fun are perfect! I love clever, cute and quick recipes.
You love s’mores?! who doesn’t, right? Your mouth will water with these S’mores cookies from The Girl Who Ate Everything.
Dreamsicles anyone? YES! These would be yummy for a summer party! It’s a recipe from Lady Birdie Ln. I must try these soon.
JELL-O cookies! really? How cool is this idea from Kraft Foods.
I have some lemon cake mix sitting in my pantry right now. Guess what? Tidy Mom has a delicious lemon burst cookie recipe. I tried it, it won’t disappoint… promise!
These are so fun for the kids to decorate! Sunshine Butter cookies from Purple Oven Mitt.
I hope you are all having a great summer!!

Great recipes. I was just doing a search on summer cookie recipes that I can make for a bbq tomorrow. The dreamsicles and brownie cookies are both contenders, but I’m tucking all these recipes away for the future!
The sunshine cookies look like a fun one to have the kids do! Thanks for sharing!
