How Many Calories are in Homemade Sangria?

Wondering how many calories are in homemade sangria? Well, most sangria recipes can be up to 300 calories per serving, because of the fruit, juice, and added sugar. But thanks to my Skinny Sangria, now your homemade sangria will only be 70 calories per serving!

How to Make Skinny Sangria

Out of all of the sangrias I’ve made over the years, this is the most popular by far with my readers.

Not everyone likes drinking skinny cocktails or even sangria for that matter, but all of my friends enjoyed this refreshing and simple low calorie recipe. So if they liked it, I know you will too!

What You Need To Make Skinny Sangria

  • Wine: Red Wine is what makes this sangria so tasty. (You can also use canned wine ~ See our list for the best canned wine.)
  • Fruit: 1-2 cups of fresh fruit such as: Sliced Strawberries, Bite-Sized Pineapple Chunks, Sliced Oranges and Blackberries
  • Soda: To give your sangria some fizz, try using Sprite Zero. It has no calories and tastes great.
  • Spirits: Using a spirit such as Pomegranate Vodka gives your cocktail an added kick. This optional and regular vodka will work just as well.
  • Garnish: Leave out some sliced fruit to garnish your glass.
