Strawberry Plum Rose Sangria is an easy delicious pink wine party cocktail recipe!
Enjoy an easy fruit filled wine cocktail by trying this delicious Strawberry Plum Rose Sangria!
Plums are becoming one of my daughter’s new favorite fruits and we always have them in the house. To the point where I felt I HAD to use them for some type of recipe on the blog. With summer parties happening, I thought a plum sangria would make a delicious and refreshing drink!
After the popularity of my Tropical Pineapple Sangria (the video has over 2.5 million views on Facebook!!!), I’ve been a little obsessed with trying new flavors of sangria. I have never made a cocktail with rosé wine, so was excited to try it in this new drink recipe.
The good thing about rose wine is that most people enjoy the light, sweet flavor which will make this Strawberry Plum Rose Sangria a very popular fruity party drink!
Because plums are often tart, I mixed in some sweet strawberries and fresh cherries. This combo with the rose wine and a little Chambord, black raspberry liqueur, turned out amazing if I do say so myself!
I can’t wait to serve this for the 4th of July! This recipe would be great for all kinds of parties, especially wedding showers, baby showers or birthday parties. Sangria is also perfect for hanging around by the pool as well.
The bright red colors of the fruit, make this not only a tasty drink, but beautiful cocktail!
I thought the fruit would be too tart and I would have to add some sugar or simple syrup, but after adding the Chambord and lemon lime soda, my drink was perfect! Not too sweet and just a little tangy from the wine. You can always add sugar if you like a sweeter drink.
This might be my all new favorite drink recipe! If you are looking for something with less calories, try my delicious Skinny Sangria Recipe. Adding plums to it would be amazing as well!
I hope you enjoy this drink!
