Tips for Making a Fruit Salad

Here are a few tips to help you make the perfect fruit salad.

  1. Use fruit that is in season. You’ll get the freshest ingredients this way. I love to use organic fruit as well.
  2. Mix colors of fruit. A variety of colors make a gorgeous salad! It’s also fun to do all one color of fruit when you have a theme going on. I love to use green fruits for our Grinch Party.
  3. Think about fruit textures. Strawberries and pears tend to get softer when mixed with dressing, while grapes and pomegranate seeds will stay crispy. A little of both textures is what you want.
