Mini Heart Sugar Cookie Cake Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup Sugar Cookie Dough
- 6 Chocolate Cookies or Chocolate Heart Candy
- ¼ cup Valentine Nonpareils Sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat oven or air fryer to 350 degrees.
- Lightly coat a small heart-shaped baking pan with cooking spray.
- Press the sugar cookie dough evenly into the heart-shaped pan to form the base of the cake.
- Place a chocolate cookie or heart chocolate in the center on top of the dough.
- Cover the chocolate with another layer of dough, sealing the edges. Sprinkle Valentine candy sprinkles generously on top.
- Bake until golden brown. (Air Fryer: 5-7 minutes or Oven: 10-12 minutes)
- Remove from oven or air fryer.
- While the cookie cake is warm, press another cookie into the top for an extra delicious layer.
- Let the cake cool completely before removing it from the pan. It should have slightly crispy edges and a soft center.
