What is the Best Candy for a Dessert Board?

When you’re making a dessert board with candy, think about using candy that can be displayed on a platter without getting soggy, stale or melting.

Hard candies, candy coated chocolates, soft fruit snacks or gummy candies are always great choices. When you start adding chocolate, baked goods such as brownies, cookies and cupcakes, be mindful of how long you plan to display your board. Cookies can get hard or frosting and chocolate can easily melt in the heat.

Fresh or dried fruits are always great additions to a dessert board.
