Quick & Healthy Minions Banana Smoothie
We LOVE Minions around here, so to get my kids excited about eating a healthy snack, I made a Healthy Minions Banana Smoothie! With a little creativity, a regular smoothie can be an exciting twist on an after school snack or quick breakfast! Plus, I thought these would be adorable healthy treats for a Minions themed birthday party.
How cute would these Minions Banana Smoothie jars look on this Minions party table I styled a while back? Wish I had thought of this then!
Since Minions are wild about bananas, I attached some Minions mini figurines around the mason jar and my daughter got the biggest kick out of them. ha! You can find them here, or at your local toy store. They make great party favors and cupcake toppers!
To make the Minion glass, I used a Mason Jar, Black Ribbon and a large Googly Eye. Hot glue the ribbon onto the jar and glue on the eye. Super easy!
If making these for a party with small kids and you don’t want to use glass, you could use clear plastic cups or yellow paper cups.

We added a few secret ingredients to make this smoothie a little more healthy. First start with a sliced up banana and a half a cup of yogurt. Freeze the banana ahead of time then you won’t need to add ice!
Then add the secret ingredient… oats!
Then some ice, half a cup of milk and honey to taste, then mix. I added a few drops of yellow food coloring to make my smoothie look more like a Minion, but you can leave that out if you prefer.

Amy, you almost made me cry. I picked sluggish and here turns up a minion smoothie. I spent last night gathering my entire minions collection because I desperately need some extra money and so I’m going to sell it. I cried the whole time but the truth is that since I lost my legs, I can’t take care of it anyway. You wouldn’t be interested in buying it would you … wink wink wink.
