Instructions

  • Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor or by placing them in a plastic bag and crushing them with a rolling pin.
  • Combine the crushed Oreo cookies with the softened cream cheese and mix.
  • Roll the Oreo cream cheese mixture into egg shaped balls, about the size of a golf ball, and place on a parchment covered baking sheet. Freeze for 15-20 minutes.
  • In a microwavable bowl, add the white chocolate candy melts and heat in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time. Stir between each 30 seconds until melted and creamy.
  • Dip each Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, cover completely and place it back onto the baking sheet or a cookie rack.
  • While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle the candy sprinkles over the top of each egg ball.
  • Let the Easter eggs cool and the chocolate harden, then serve or package them in colorful Easter egg cartons.

Notes

Add food coloring to the white chocolate melts to create colorful truffles for Easter.
