I’ve been having a ball creating recipes for Oriental Trading Co. Not only do they have adorable Halloween party favor bags, but big bags of inexpensive candy. I used a bunch of fun candy in this recipe that I found on their website.

These cute vampire, mummy and ghost treat bags would be cute for a class party.
Worms and Bugs Halloween Candy Bark
Ingredients
- 1 Bag Vanilla Almond Bark
- 1 Bottle Neon Green Food Coloring
- 1 Bottle Orange Food Coloring
- 1 Bag Candy Bones
- 1 Bag Gummy Eyeballs
- 1 Bag Realistic Gummy Worms
- 1 Bag Realistic Gummy Bugs
- 1 Container Halloween Candy Sprinkles
- 1 Bag Favorite Halloween Candy
Instructions
- Add the almond bark in a large glass bowl. Heat in the microwave for 30-60 seconds at a time, stirring between each break. This way you won’t over heat and burn the candy.
- Use two glass cups and pour half a cup of the melted candy into each cup. In one cup, add a few drops of orange food coloring and mix. Leave the second cup white.
- In the large bowl of melted candy, add several drops of neon green food coloring and 1-2 drops of yellow food coloring. Add more green to get the green color you prefer. Mix well and set aside.
- Heat the green candy bowl for another 30 seconds, stir, then pour into a parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Smooth it out with a spatula.
- Drizzle some white and orange melted candy over the green. Spread around with a toothpick to give it a spider web look.
- Gently add your candy and sprinkles, then chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes or until candy hardens.
- Lift candy out of cookie sheet by the paper and place on a cutting board. Cut into pieces with a knife and serve!
