Need something fun to make with the kids? Or just nuts about squirrels? Here is a cute idea from Martha Stewart.
Guests will go nuts over these cute critters. Squirrels perched atop logs filled with foil-wrapped chocolate chestnuts, hazelnuts, and walnuts make sweet seasonal tokens. Put one at each setting at the Thanksgiving table. If you’d like, you can write guests’ names on the logs before assembling them so the favors can double as place cards.

Too cute!!!
How clever!! If I was hosting Thanksgiving this year, I think I would have tried my hand at making them. I am hosting Christmas, though, so I will be at your blog daily to see what you’ve cooked up idea-wise.
Oh, by the way, I took several photos of a squirrel in that exact same position sitting on the rail of my deck this past Thursday.
Really cute ideas, Amy. I’m so glad I found my way to your blog.
