I’ve been a little obsessed with making jarcuterie lately! It all started with my vegetable flower jarcuterie that I made years ago to try to get my kids to eat more veggies.

Then to celebrate our upcoming trip to Disney World, I made a Disney Jarcuterie. You can make so many fun themed treats in a jar or a cup!

Preparing dessert charcuterie in jars is super simple and fun! All you need are a few of your favorite red and blue fruit along with patriotic pre-made treats and cookies.

Now that you have your ingredients and supplies for a 4th of July Jarcuterie, you’re ready to assemble them, which is the most fun!

  • Prepare Jars: Fill blue mason jars halfway full with candy.
  • Assemble: Gently push skewers into cookies and cover the skewer with paper straws. Place into jars. Place fruit onto skewers place into jars.
  • Decorate: Add peppermint sticks and tie twine around jars for decorations.
  • Enjoy: Serve immediately and enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cherries
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 12 Patriotic Sugar cookies
  • 12 peppermint sticks
  • Skewers
  • 6 blue Mason jars
  • 3 cups white Sixlets candy
  • Patriotic paper straws
  • Red bakers twine

Instructions

  • Fill mason jars halfway full with candy.
  • Gently push skewers into cookies and cover the skewer with paper straws. Place into jars.
  • Place fruit onto skewers place into jars.
  • Add peppermint sticks
  • Tie twine around jars for decorations.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

To make ahead of time, make the fruit skewers and refrigerate until ready to serve.
