Why You’ll Love This Recipe
This creamy Tzatziki sauce brings a taste of Greece to your home! It’s a versatile, low-carb dip or sauce—perfect for drizzling over grilled chicken or serving with veggies, olives, crackers, or pita bread.

How to Make Homemade Tzatziki Sauce
I recently made this beautiful veggie tray for my friends and it was a huge hit. I used all store-bought goodies, but made the Tzatziki sauce. This sauce recipe is so easy!
You’ll need:
- ½ English cucumber, peeled and grated
- 16 oz (2 cups) cold plain Greek yogurt (I think full fat tastes best)
- 4 cloves garlic, grated
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill
- 1/4 cup finely chopped feta cheese
- 1½ Tablespoon fresh-squeezed lemon juice (½ lemon)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon salt, or more to your taste
- black pepper to taste

Chop Fresh Dill
Finely chop the dill and feta cheese, then set aside in a mixing bowl.

Grate Cucumber
After grating the cucumber, squeeze as much water out as you can. Use your hand, or add the cucumber to a cheesecloth and squeeze. When you are done removing as much water from the cucumber, add it to the bowl.

Grate Fresh Garlic
Grate the garlic and then mix all ingredients.

You can serve it right away with a vegetable tray or chill it overnight. Garnish with olives and a sprig of dill.

I hope you enjoy this simple Tzatziki dip and vegetable platter recipe!
