Supplies Needed
You only need a few simple items to create these adorable yarn-wrapped carrots:
- Scissors
- Foam Cones – I found mine at a yard sale, but you can also grab them at craft stores like Michaels.
- Orange Yarn – Any shade will work!
- Green Pipe Cleaners – For the carrot tops.
- Hot Glue Gun – To secure everything in place.

How to Make Yarn Carrots
Step 1: Wrap the Foam Cone
Start at the bottom of the foam cone, securing the end of the yarn with a small dab of hot glue. Begin wrapping the yarn around the cone, keeping the layers close together. Continue wrapping until the entire cone is covered, adding a bit of glue every so often to keep it secure.

Step 2: Secure the Yarn
Once you reach the top, cut the yarn and glue the end down so it stays in place.

Step 3: Add the Green Top
Cut a few pipe cleaners and stick into the top of the carrot to create the leafy stem.

Step 4: Display and Enjoy!
Your DIY Yarn Carrots are ready to brighten up your Easter decor! Arrange them in a basket, use them for table centerpieces, or add them to a festive garland.

That’s it, friends! You can use these as decorations for an Easter wreath or even a Teacher’s gift. We all love crafty things!
