Easy No-Bake Minion Dessert Idea
Not only are these cute Minion Candy Spoons perfect homemade lolliops for Easter baskets, but are a fun no-bake Minion dessert and party favors for a Despicable Me Minion birthday party!
How to make Despicable Me Minion Candy Spoons
Despicable Me 2 features the return of Gru, the girls, the unpredictably hilarious minions…and a host of new and outrageously funny characters. I was delighted to be asked to create something fun for Easter to celebrate the movie! Minions are our favorite at Universal Orlando!

Minon dessert supplies you will need:
- Plastic Spoons (I choose blue spoons to look like their overalls)
- Yellow Candy Melts
- Candy Eyeballs
- Chocolate Sprinkles
- Black Icing & Small Icing Tip
- Wax Paper
- Cookie Sheet
- Candy Treat Plastic Wrappers

Minon Candy Spoons Directions
Step 1
Place a large handful of candy in a deep glass bowl or cup and heat in the microwave for 30 seconds. Stir a little bit, then heat for an additional 10-20 seconds if needs to be melted more.
The melting process time will depend on your microwave. You don’t want to over heart it or it will burn.

Step 2
Dip a spoon into the melted candy and place upside down on a cookie sheet covered with wax paper.
Before the candy dries, add a few eyeballs. Don’t forget that some minions only have one eye!
Let the candy dry completely before decorating. I put my cookie sheet in the refrigerator to speed up the process.

Step 3
After the Minion spoons are dry, carefully outline the eyeballs with black icing for the glasses and mouth.
Add hair (chocolate sprinkles) one by one with some of the melted candy. I just dipped the tip into melted candy and they stuck on the spoon great. Surprisingly they stayed put even after I put them in the bags!
When it’s all dry, place into plastic wrappers and add gift tags.
Now that was easy and so cute right?

Free Printable Minion Easter Tags
I designed a few free printable Minion Happy Easter gift tags that will be great for Easter baskets or classroom gifts.
Both free printables work great with these Minion dessert candy spoons. I personally like the larger tags. If you like them too, you will need to cut a small line above and below the logo before inserting the spoon.
