This easy craft tutorial for a Candy Gumball Machine is the cutest idea for homemade gifts and party favors! It’s also a creative way to display candy on a birthday party dessert table.
Adorable Candy Gumball Machine Craft!
I made the cutest Candy Gumball Machine Party Favors this week. These little Candy Gumball Machines are definitely one of my most favorite party craft ideas ever. Well, these Candy Microphones are another favorite, but I can’t pick which one I like best!
I love making cute and crafty food gifts like this for class gifts as well as a party. You and your kids will both love making this simple craft.
Whether you’re having a birthday party or baby shower, this craft is perfect for a dessert table or party favors. These simple Candy Gumball Machine crafts are made with a plastic Christmas ornaments, candy and a paper cup. SO EASY!
What you’ll need to make a Candy Gumball Machine:
- Clear Plastic Ornament Ball (I found mine at Michaels)
- Red paper cups
- Candy – Such as Mini M&M’s, Sixlets or small gumballs
- Tape
- Black Sharpie
- Embellishments
Directions:
Pull out the top of the ornament and wrap a piece of paper into a funnel to pour your candy into the ornament. After you fill it with candy, cover the opening with tape. I used duct tape. Like the zebra print?
Punch a hole in the bottom of the cup with a pen, push your finger through to make hole large enough to hold your ornament.
Place the ornament full of candy into the cup hole.
Draw the pretend opening for the gumballs and add embellishments if you have them.
I put a small round gem sticker on the top of the ornaments as well as the front.
For an easy five minute craft, I think these gumball machines turned out super cute! You could make them with larger cups and ornaments for real gumballs as well. I thought the M&M’s worked perfect for a large crowd and they are better for small children – no choking hazard.
Don’t miss these cute Candy Microphone Party Favors too!
