Adorable Frozen Summer Birthday Party Ideas for kids!
I’m so excited to finally share my daughter’s Disney Frozen Summer Birthday Party that I hosted last summer! If you are looking for some cute summer party ideas, you’ll love these beach birthday party games and easy fun food ideas.
Every kid was going crazy over the movie Frozen last year, so of course my daughter wanted to have it as her 8th birthday party theme! Her favorite character is Olaf the snowman… not Anna and Elsa. (GASP!) She might be one of the only girls to NOT care about the sisters in the movie. ha! She even dressed as Olaf for Halloween while all of her friends were Anna or Elsa.
At the time, there was nothing available at stores for an Olaf party, so I came up with my own ideas based on the Disney Frozen song, In Summer. Of course, now there are”Frozen in Summer” party party plates and napkins from Disney. It’s always a year after I need it! ha!
I put together what I thought Olaf would love about a summer party. It was a mix of Disney Frozen and a Hawaiian luau. The party was at a public beach park on a lake and you wouldn’t believe the number of people (and kids!) who came over to our party table wondering where I found everything.
The party table really was super cute!! I would have LOVED a party like this when I was a little girl.

The best party purchase was the life sized Olaf! I dressed him up in full luau attire. The girls and pretty much every kid on the beach got photos with him!
That’s the thing about Olaf is he is perfect for both a boy and girl themed Frozen birthday party.
I made simple beach themed cupcakes using crushed graham crackers as the sand on the icing. After adding my Olaf printables and a toothpick umbrella they were ready to go!
A fun touch for a beach or luau party is to glue a piece of grass skirt around the cake stand. I found a cute Hawaiian Olaf figurine for a cake topper.
Since I was traveling for the party and it was a hot day in Texas, simple non-messy snacks were essential.
Crushed graham crackers and fresh fruit in cups was easy to assemble!
I packed these easy Olaf cheese sticks in our cooler. All you need is a sharpie to make them.
The all time favorite Frozen Summer Birthday Party treats were my Olaf Marshmallow Pops!
I’ve shared how I made them here on my blog, but haven’t shown you how I displayed them for the party yet until now…
I thought these marshmallow pops turned out adorable! Olaf is enjoying some time on the beach before he gets eaten:-)
The girls got a kick out of this treat! I had my husband be security to guard them from the other little kids on the public beach who were trying to take them off our our table before we could eat them. I’ll know now to make more next time to share with everyone! ha!

Even I had to get my photo with Olaf! Heck… pretty much every kid on the beach did too. ha! Since he was so popular, I ended up taking him down to the sand so little kids could go hug and take photos with him too. Everyone loves Olaf!
Frozen Summer Birthday Party Games
Now for the party games! I love hosting home parties mainly for the old fashioned party games like sack races and hula hooping contests.
I found these inflatable luau body bummers on sale and had to get them! It was hilarious and super entertaining. Even the parents had fun with this party game:-)
Since we were on a beach, making a sand snowman was a must!
