Easy Breakfast Pizza Recipe
I’m loving this easy Egg, Cheese and Sausage Breakfast Pizza Recipe by Divian! What a great idea for something different for breakfast or any time of the day. Enjoy! ~ Amy
Last month I travelled to Chicago to teach a photography workshop and this was my first time driving. I took my daughters with me and we had a blast. On the way back we stopped at a gas station that was more of a general store for breakfast. I grabbed a breakfast pizza slice for myself and 2 breakfast burritos for the girls. I was miles and miles away before I took my first bite of my pizza slice and when I did I was immediately wishing I had more! It was so good.
All of the breakfast pizzas I had tried before used a sausage gravy as the sauce but this one….pure cheesy goodness. Since I do not live anywhere near this store to get my breakfast pizza fix, I went on a quest to make my own.
This breakfast pizza is one of the easiest recipes I have ever come up with. It does take some prepping but believe me, it is worth it. My kids helped me make these and when they tried them, they would not stop talking about how good they were.
I mean, my 11-year-old son who has not eaten eggs in 10 years tried it and asked for more! I was in such shock! It brought him out of his ‘allergy’, as he calls it, to eggs! That says a lot!
You will need:
- 3-4 Scrambled eggs
- Shredded Cheese
- 1 can Campbell’s Cheddar Cheese Soup
- Sausage or Bacon
- Pizza Dough
One 9″ pan makes enough for 2 people.
Directions:
Scramble your eggs and cook your meat. Prepare your own pizza dough or use the refrigerated pizza dough to save time. Spread dough over your round 9 inch pan, trimming any excess. Work dough around and cut in tiny slits into the dough. Bake at 350 until firm.
Once the dough and toppings are done, now it is time to have fun! The kids will love helping with this part.
Now put the breakfast pizza back into the oven for another 4-5 minutes or until the cheese melts.
See, I told you that was easy and I am sure the kids will love making one too! Seriously, these slices of cheesy goodness with eggs and meat were gone in minutes!
