Easy Disney Snow White Evil Queen Halloween Costume
Disney’s Evil Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is one of the most iconic and recognizable villains in the history of animated films. This is a great semi-homemade costume and make-up tutorial for Disneyland’s Oogie Boogie Bash or Disney World’s Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.
When I dressed as the Evil Queen at last year’s Disneyland Oogie Boogie Bash, I was stopped at least a dozen time for photos. It was hilarious to walk around the park as the Evil Queen and extra fun when I would see someone dressed as Snow White or one of her seven dwarfs!
Who is the Evil Queen?
The Evil Queen is a character from Disney’s animated film “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” which was released in 1937. She is the primary antagonist of the story and serves as Snow White’s stepmother.
The Evil Queen is known for her beauty but is consumed by jealousy and vanity. Her obsession with being the fairest in the land leads her to order the Huntsman to kill Snow White when the Magic Mirror declares Snow White as the fairest instead of her.
The Evil Queen is iconic for her dark and sinister appearance, her transformation into a hag, and her memorable quote: “Magic Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?” The Evil Queen’s role in the story is central to the conflict, as she seeks to eliminate Snow White and maintain her position as the fairest in the kingdom.

Here’s what I bought to put my Evil Queen Halloween costume together. It was so simple and easy to pack in my suitcase for Disney’s Oogie Boogie Bash.
What you’ll need for an Evil Queen Costume:
Evil Queen Halloween Costume Make-Up
To be the Evil Queen, you need to go very heavy on the make-up. You’ll want to get purple eye shadow, big fake eyelashes, liquid eyeliner, dark eyebrow liner, a contour pallet and don’t forget her iconic red lipstick.
Step 1: Contour your face
Give yourself extreme cheek bone contour with a simple bronzer or contour pallet.
Step 2: Apply Eye Make-Up
Go heavy on your eye make-up, because that is what makes the Evil Queen so great. Purple shadows, heavy lined eyes with big fake eyelashes make the costume! Don’t forget to give yourself some evil eyebrows.
Step 3: Apply Lipstick
Last but not least, apply the Evil Queen’s red lipstick to make your transformation complete!
