Owl Smores by LivingLocurto.com

Owl S’Mores are one of my all time favorite creations! It’s been fun to see an idea that I came up with randomly one evening while having a late night snack, go all around the internet.

I usually have to have a chocolate fix once every other day. I thought using only a few chocolate chips would be less fattening:-) When I put the chips on the marshmallows, I immediately pictured owl eyes and the idea came from there!

Get the Owl S’more recipe here if you’d like to make them, they are such a hoot!

Today I thought it would be fun to feature some Owl S’mores from around the internet. Here are a few that I’ve found. If you’ve made some, add a photo to myFacebook Page. I’d love to see!

The owls lined up on Living Craftily Ever After‘s party table are so fun!

My owl treats even made an appearance on TV!

Studio 5 Owl Smores

In Utah, Studio 5 asked designer Kristine Mckay to make them for their segment about decorating with owls. Because of these smores, I’m now good friends with the lovely Kristine and working with her on her awesome new project My Craft Channel which is almost ready to launch! The segment is so funny… Kristine does NOT cook. It’s pretty hilarious to watch, but I thought she did a great job!

I made them for my owl camping party last fall.

If you have made them too, be sure to add a photo to my Facebook Page.

If you blog about them, please link back to the original Owl S’Mores post for directions. Thanks!

  1. Love the owls. I have a request if possible to come up with…
S’mores with a Christmas theme. Looked like a grand idea for the kitchen crew at church to fix for the little ones.
    Thanks
