How to Host a Successful Pizza Party!
A pizza bar is such an easy idea when you need to feed a crowd or just want to do something fun and different for dinner. It’s easy to do with frozen pizza, you just need to follow a few tips.
What you’ll need:
- four or more frozen pizzas
- your favorite pizza toppings
- several baking pans
- pizza cutter
- parchment paper
- paper plates
- pencil or sharpie marker
- spatula
Set up the table with small bowls of each topping.
Thaw the frozen pizza slightly so you can cut into slices.
Have pre-cut semi-frozen slices ready to go on a baking sheet or parchment paper before your guests arrive.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
At the beginning of the bar, provide guests with paper plates so they can add toppings to their pizza slices.
Claim your Pizza Slices
At the end of the bar, have several baking sheets lined with parchment paper ready for the oven.
When guests are done, have them place a slice on the parchment paper and write their name next to it with a pencil or sharpie marker.
Bake a pan full of pizza slices for about 5 minutes or until brown.
Place baking sheet on table with a spatula for guest to grab their slice.
Great Appetizers to Serve at a Pizza Party
Make sure to have appetizers on the table for people to snack on while they wait for their pizza to get hot and crunchy in the oven. There are so many quick and easy appetizers you could make for your pizza buffet, but here are a few of my favorites that are super quick to whip up in no time!
Mason Jar Salad
Mason jars full of salad with fresh vegetables is always a fun grab and go treat!
Caprese Salad Skewers
Instead of flowers as a centerpiece, I added mozzarella, fresh basil and cherry tomatoes to skewers. I put them in a small vase and added the left-over basil for the greenery. Place a bottle of balsamic glaze on your table so guests make a Caprese salad from these tasty skewers.
