Disney Frozen Olaf Marshmallow Pops
We love Olaf around our home and love Disney’s Frozen Fever Short Film about Anna’s summer birthday party which reminded me about my daughter’s Frozen in Summer themed birthday party we had many summers ago.
There are hundreds of our Frozen birthday party photos to go through, but I did find a few of these adorable Olaf Marshmallow Pops to share now!
These cute Olaf marshmallow pops are simple to make and would be fun for a party or to get the kids excited for Anna’s birthday in the new Disney Frozen film.
How to Make Olaf Marshmallow Pops

What you’ll need:
- Marshmallows
- Black Licorice
- Orange Gummy Candy
- White Candy Melts
- Black Edible Ink Marker
- Scissors
- Wax Paper
- Plastic Spoons

Directions:
1. Cut a marshmallow in half to make it thinner. TIP: wet your scissors before cutting into the marshmallow so they won’t stick.
2. Cut the marshmallow in the shape of Olaf’s head. It’s basically an elongated hexagon.
3. Cut a piece of licorice to look like Olaf’s stick hair. I cut an inch off and cut the licorice in half. Then cut 3 slices long ways down the candy, leaving a section of the bottom in place. Then I trimmed the 3 slices to look like his hair. (see photo below)
4. Cut a slice into the top of the marshmallow head. This is where the hair will need to go after you dip it into the candy. Test it out with a piece of your licorice to make sure it’s a big enough slice.
5. Cut out a nose from the orange candy.
6. Use the left over marshmallow pieces to make his teeth.
7. Assemble everything so you have it ready as soon as you dip your marshmallow into the melted candy.

8. Now that you’ve got everything ready to assemble, microwave some candy in a deep glass container for about 30 seconds. Stir and heat again for another 30 seconds and stir until it’s creamy. I only heat for 30 seconds at a time as to not burn the candy.
9. Stick your marshmallow Olaf shaped head to the underside of a spoon. You will have already cut one half of the marshmallow to make it thinner… that will attach just like a sticker to the spoon!
10. Dip Olaf’s head into the melted candy. I like to use a tall glass so it all fits.
11. Gently tap the spoon on the side of your glass to make the candy smooth. Place on wax paper.
12. While the candy is not yet dry, gently place the eye balls and nose on the face.
13. Dip the bottom of the licorice hair into the melted chocolate and stuff into the top of the marshmallow. (Remember you should have sliced a small bit out of the top of the marshmallow to make room for this.)
14. Let the treats completely dry.
15. Draw his mouth and eye brows with a black edible marker. I also traced around the top of the eyes.
16. Stick on the marshmallow tooth! It should stick directly on the candy. If not, add some melted candy with a toothpick to use as glue.

I hope your Disney Frozen fans enjoy this!
