It’s time to start planning those Christmas parties and pulling out the holiday decorations. Melissa is back today with a simple do it yourself idea for making a Mini Christmas Tree Centerpiece.
I love how you can easily whip this together fast with a mini Christmas tree and some decorations that you probably already have all packed up with your holiday decorations. Enjoy this craft! ~ Amy
Entertaining guests during the holiday season is my all time favorite! Family, friends and even neighbors attend our gatherings. Each year I set up the table with my grandparent’s snowman China and I change out the centerpiece. This year, instead of a store bought centerpiece, I will be showcasing my own DIY Mini Christmas Tree Centerpiece. The best part? I get to use it all season long (no more wilted flower arrangements) and I can use it next year too!
When I went to the craft store to buy my supplies I came across mini Christmas trees which quickly became the inspiration for this piece.
Create your own DIY Mini Christmas Tree Centerpiece to display all holiday season! Grab the simple how-to instructions below.
Supplies:
- Holiday greenery spray
- Beaded holiday spray
- Holiday garland
- Mini Christmas tree
- Scissors
- Hot Glue
How to make a Mini Christmas Tree Centerpiece
Begin by folding back the greenery branch (or cutting it off with wire cutters).
Wrap holiday garland around the greenery which adds a pop of color and additional elements such as pine cones. Fluff out the greenery and garland.
Cut off beads from the beaded spray with scissors leaving a short stem. Place the beads in the tiny Christmas tree.
Place the mini decorated tree in the center. Secure by wrapping pieces of the greenery and garland around the base (or use a hot glue gun).
Display your new DIY Mini Christmas Tree Centerpiece at dinner parties and gatherings! Make several if you have a large dinning table. Having three or four in a row would be beautiful.
