Is Baby Yoda actually Yoda?
The Mandalorian character we call Baby Yoda, is officially “The Child”. Throughout the first season, there were theories The Child was actually Yoda.
After interviews such as the one with Jon Favreau, director of The Mandalorian, and the Hollywood Reporter it was been confirmed The Child is a little one of the same species as Yoda. We learn more in season 2 and even know his real name now!

Now we know Baby Yoda’s real name is Grogu! Grogu is so cute and it’s still fun to call him Baby Yoda. I’m not sure that will ever change among Star Wars fans.
