Awesome LEGO Cupcakes Celebrating The LEGO Movie 2
I’m so excited to see The LEGO® Movie 2: The Second Part! It will be in theaters starting February 8, and if you have LEGO lovers in your home like I do, you’ll really enjoy these fun LEGO Cupcakes with Free Printables from the LEGO Movie 2!
We laugh so hard at the LEGO movies and will be going to see this new one as soon as it comes out. Hopefully these cute LEGO Cupcakes and printables will inspire you with ideas for a fun movie watching night or upcoming birthday party for your LEGO fan!
LEGO Movie 2
The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part reunites the heroes of Bricksburg in an all new action-packed adventure to save their beloved city.
It’s been five years since everything was awesome and the citizens are now facing a huge new threat: LEGO DUPLO® invaders from outer space, wrecking everything faster than it can be rebuilt.
The battle to defeat the invaders and restore harmony to the LEGO universe will take Emmet (Chris Pratt), Lucy (Elizabeth Banks), Batman (Will Arnett) and their friends to faraway, unexplored worlds, including a strange galaxy where everything is a musical. It will test their courage, creativity and Master Building skills, and reveal just how special they really are.
How to Make Fun LEGO Cupcakes
I will never forget making adorable LEGO Cake Pops many years ago for my son’s 7th birthday party. It’s hard to believe he is sixteen now! His cake pops went wild around the internet and now you see them everywhere! I’m excited to share another cute LEGO dessert idea for you today.
These sweet treats are easy to make with your favorite cupcakes, colorful candies, plastic cups, my new free LEGO Movie printable cupcake toppers and paper straws. (Scroll down to download the printables.)
Adding M&M’s candy into clear plastic cups is an extra cute way to display your LEGO cupcakes on a party table. I’ve also put candy into plastic champagne flutes before as well. You really can’t go wrong using these fun LEGO Movie 2 character printables as cupcake toppers.
I love Lucy, aka Wyldstyle, voiced by Elizabeth Banks. She’s a tough master builder with the coolest hair around!
LEGO Batman
I’m probably most excited about Batman, voiced by Will Arnett, making a comeback in the new movie. He is so funny! I’m often heard laughing the loudest in the entire theater when he comes on screen. (Seriously, you can ask my kids… I laugh loud! ha!)
If you love Batman too, don’t miss these LEGO Batman treat bags I made for his movie.
All of the characters look adorable all together on these LEGO Cupcakes. Now I can’t wait to see the movie!
