How to make a Felt Flower Corsage
What you’ll need:
- felt
- scissors
- hot glue gun
- ribbon
Directions:
First, you will need to cut a felt circle to make the flowers. You can use a CD, a cup or anything else circular for a pattern.
Next cut the circle into a spiral. Begin at the outer edge and work your way to the middle.
From there you will roll the spiral starting in the middle. Make sure to roll it so the cut edge is lined up and even. The bottom of the flower should be flat. Glue the end to secure in place.
Now that the flowers are done you will want to cute out small leaf shapes and set aside.
Arrange the flowers close together on the small piece of felt. Once you have decided on the arrangement add the felt leaf.
Next you will glue the felt flowers and leaf to the small piece of felt, using a generous amount of glue. Let dry.
Tip: glue the flowers one at a time so you won’t mess up your arrangement.
Once the glue is dry remove the extra felt by cutting around the flowers. Get as close as you can.
You’re almost done, now all you need to do is add two pieces of ribbon to the back side of the corsage.
Now you have a fun corsage! It would be perfect for Mother’s Day or for your daughters to wear to their next tea party!
