This is a very busy season for me, so I have to think of quick treats. For Easter, I’ll be making some cotton candy cupcakes. No recipe needed, just put some cotton candy inside cupcake wrappers, add some M&M’s and Peeps and you’ve got a quick and cute alternative to cupcakes.
Be sure to serve them within several hours after making them, otherwise the cotton candy will shrivel up…. especially with Peeps on top of them. I wrapped them up, but the Peeps still melted the cotton candy by the end of the day. If you plan to make ahead of time, just add cotton candy and wrap up tight.

Well this is definitely an original idea. Though I have to say my kids would be so wired with sugar that I don’t think I could deal with that. 🙂 So I am putting this idea in the adult realm only.
Don't have time to bake Easter Cupcakes? How about Cotton Candy Cupcakes from @livinglocurto http://twurl.nl/zp4lo7

@Amy, If you have a Chuck E Cheese in your area you might be able to find it there too.

I think this is a fabulous idea! I do cotton candy on top of cupcakes or cakes sometimes. This would be a fabulous idea at a birthday party, etc. Love it.
@Astrid,
They have a bunch of cotton candy in different colors at Walmart right now in the Easter/party section. I’ve also seen it at my grocery store.
what a cute idea Amy!!

Where do you buy cotton candy? Other than at a fair I don’t think I’ve ever seen cotton candy for sale. Those “cupcakes” are super cute!
