What do you do with holiday cards you receive?
I make mine into a Christmas tree on a coat closet door by my family room. The tree is small right now, but will soon go all the way to the floor! It’s a fun way for everyone who visits to see all the cute family photos.
I love this idea! How are you attaching them to the door? I have tried all sorts of different tape/3M fasteners, and the cards always end up falling to the floor.
I loved all of the ideas for Christmas cards! I work for DaySpring (a Christian subsidiary of Hallmark). This is my first visit to your site and I’ll be sharing it! (:

I love the Christmas tree idea! I just hang mine on a Christmas card hang-y thing. Very boring now that I see your display. 😉

I love the tree idea, which is sort of what I do too!

Great ideas!!
I love your idea and the ones everyone is sharing. I especially love the idea to pray for a different family each night at dinne ~ that’s wonderful!
I am usually really lame-o and I tape them in rows on my fridge. I think I’ll be using the “Christmas tree on a door” ideas from now on.

P.S. I have only received 3 cards so far this year (when we usually receive between 75-100.) I think the economy is really affecting the Christmas card sending this year.

I’ll try to take a picture of mine and post it later today or tomorrow-must plow thru to-do list first!
But I just came up with a cute idea! I have an old shutter I found at a garage sale. New ones would work too. I screwed cup holder hooks, punched holes in the Christmas cards and hooked them on the cup hooks. Looks cute! Later on I can use the hooks for artwork from my kids!

I don’t really have a picture of mine but here it is anyway…
We keep all of our Christmas cards in a basket on the kitchen table. Then starting right after Christmas, we pull a card out of the basket at dinner each night and pray for that family while we say grace before dinner.
It helps us to remember to pray for our friends and family.
Now in the interest of complete honesty, we did not do a good job with this last year. I am committed to getting back on track this year.

p.s. – I found the Scooby Doo ornament at Hallmark and we’ll be having our What God Wants for Christmas party this weekend.

I posted mine but you have to scroll down to see the picture. We use these columns between our kitchen/family room (where we spend 98% of our time). I hung wide ribbon down the middle then post all the holiday cards on the column so we can look at all our friends/family throughout the season. The columns are looking a little bare in the picture – guess most folks haven’t sent out their cards yet? I hope it’s that and not that we fell off their list 😉

I am very boring. I just have a cute little card holder by the front door that I got for free for some Hallmark promotion years ago. I’ve gotten so few cards so far this year that it’s barely halfway full.
I love the way you displayed yours!

What a fabulous idea! My only idea was to put them in a basket but I would have to go get one and I already own a DOOR!
Thanks for the inspiration!
