Mother’s Day is coming soon and that means it’s time to celebrate all of the fantastic mothers in your life! I’m excited to team up with a few friends to bring you some amazing DIY Mother’s Day Gift Ideas.
A homemade gift is a perfect way to show someone how much you appreciate them. I love using essential oils around my home to help with various health issues, as well as enjoying a sweet smelling home, but I’m also addicted to making all kinds of goodies with my oils!
Lemon Sugar Scrub & Free Printables
I hope you enjoy our recipe for Lemon Sugar Scrub and Free Printable Mother’s Day Tags. This vibrantly scented sugar scrub is perfect to smooth, soften, cleanse and exfoliate skin.
Along with Lemon Essential Oil, I added some Thieves. A special blend of oil by Young Living, Thieves was created based on research about four thieves in France who covered themselves with cloves, rosemary, and other aromatics while robbing plague victims. This essential oil blend is highly effective in supporting the immune system and good health.
What You’ll Need:
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1/4 cup Grapeseed Oil
- 10 Drops Lemon Essential Oil
- 5-10 Drops Thieves Essential Oil (optional)
- Glass Jar
- Free Printable “Live Life with Zest” Mother’s Day Tags (right click the link and click “download linked file”)
Mix all ingredients together. The amount of essential oils and grapeseed oil is up to you. Play around with the amounts until you get the desired smell and consistency. Add to container and attach a tag for a lovely Mother’s Day Gift!
