Drinks in a jar are just too cute and easy, that I can’t help myself! In Texas, it gets so hot in the summer that you can’t enjoy the outdoors without being in a cold pool. Now is the time when we’re having our outdoor parties and casual gatherings while we have perfect weather and not sweating to death! Last week, with my new favorite margarita recipe in hand, I headed over to my neighbor’s house for a fun girl party.
To give the girls some variety on drinks, I made delicious Blackberry Margaritas. And of course, I designed pretty labels and delivered them in jars! It’s all about presentation right? I also wanted to try making a drink with fresh fruit for summer.

Have a safe and fabulous holiday weekend!
So cute! Just make sure that you are using lids that are BPA free, because most are not and with acidic liquids it will leach quickly.
what a fantastic idea for the holiday weekend

If I want to make it without the tequila would I need to adjust the recipe or simply omit the tequila?

@Jami,
Yes, make them before with all ingredients included. I brought over extra ingredients to make more margaritas while I was there.
When you make the margarita jar favors, can you put the alcohol in too or do you have to add the alcohol when you are going to drink it? The reason I ask is because I noticed that one of you pictures shows the jars in a bucket of ice with the bottle of booze next to it…is that because the alcohol isn’t in the jars already? Can you have the alcohol in it pre-event?
@susan,
Thanks Susan! I absolutely love blackberries. Yum!
@Screwed Up Texan,
Ha! They are great without the tequila too. I highly recommend them:-)
love the tags, the straws, and the color of this cocktail! super fantastic!!
Loved the Fireman recipe – Hillarious
I’ll be over in a few hours……..get the ice and glasses ready!!
and can I say, I totally don’t “get” what in the world cute kittens has to do with Tequilla – the hot fireman yes! but loose the kitten, it’s just weird HAHA IMHO
If I could drink alcohol I’d be enjoying one with you…so instead go ahead and have mine. You’ll be glad you did about half way through summer.
