Time for more repurposed crafts! Earlier in the week, I made bracelets out of Starbucks coffee cup sleeves. Just for fun, I cut small strips of cardboard to make rings as well. I think I like the rings better than the bracelets! These are so easy and fun. See how I made one with absolutely NO glue…
While I was crafting, my glue gun caught on fire! (Scary-but I was able to put out the small flames quickly and nothing bad happened.) Because I had no glue gun, I used all tape on this cute ring.
I cut the cardboard to size then tore small strips of duct tape and wrapped around the cardboard until the entire ring was covered and held in place.
For the rose, tie a ribbon around the ring. Trim the edge off of one side.
Twist the ribbon and wrap it around and around to create a rose.
Cut two small strips of tape to hold the ribbon in place. It doesn’t have to be perfect.
Add a crystal if you want. I did. My daughter loves it too!
Be sure to check out the fun bracelets for more creative repurposed cardboard craft ideas!
