Homemade Play Dough
Posted by Amy | Filed under Crafts, Free Downloads & Printables
I feel like I’ve been a bad mommy this week. I’ve been so wrapped up with MY things, I haven’t had much time to just play and enjoy my kids. The kids probably think the computer is attached to my body at this point!
My son is 6 now and he’s wanting to hang out with his friends more than me! Whaaa. So my goal for 2009 is to play more with my kids. Not just watching them do puzzles while thinking of all the laundry that needs to get done, I mean REALLY focus on fun things with them. That’s the whole reason I started my own company, so I could work from home and be with my future kids someday. Well, they’re here and I need to do just that!
Making play dough is a craft my MOPS group always seems to enjoy.
I thought I’d make a cute recipe card that can be used as a gift for a friend or a sweet house warming present. Just put the flour & salt in a jar or bag and attach this recipe card with a ribbon and mini KoolAid pack.
Hope you take time out to play with your kids:-) Click the image to download, print and have fun!

Really fun giveaway, too. And just in time – we’re seriously getting back on the “jobs” bandwagon around here this month. (I’m a subscriber, too.)

Fundoodies is a cute name. And thanks for the play dough recipe. I’ve wanted one but been too lazy to google a good one.
I get caught up with myself every now and then, and have to remind myself to spend more time hanging with the kiddos. They grow so fast!!

Friends of mine have made play dough and they swore up and down that it’s really easy. By the recipe you provided, I can see why they said that. It looks super easy!
