Hello! I’m Thuy from My Paper Pinwheel and I am so excited to part of Amy’s Back to School week again and today I am sharing a fun and easy DIY Egg Carton Treat Box for the First Day of School.
I love thinking out of the box and coming up with different ways to use for my gift gifting. I recently ordered some kraft egg cartons and I thought it would be fun to come up with a little treat box for my boys to bring to their Teacher’s to celebrate the First Day of School. The great thing about this project is that I was able to use a lot of the items I already had.
I started with a piece of scrapbook paper that looked similar to notebook paper and wrapped it around my egg carton. Then hand stamped on a tag a little message saying Happy First Day of School. It would also be fun to hand stamp their teacher’s name too!
I then embellished the rest of the package with various tags, stickers, and finished it off with a fun pencil. I plan to put various candy treats inside the egg carton for their teacher’s to enjoy throughout the day.
