DIY Mickey Mouse Pumpkin: A Fun and Easy Dollar Tree Craft
Are you looking for a quick and easy Halloween craft that’s both budget-friendly and adorable? I took a trip to Dollar Tree and found everything I needed to create a cute Mickey Mouse-themed pumpkin that’s perfect for adding a touch of Disney magic to your fall decor.
Whether you’re decorating for fall and Halloween or just want to add some Disney magic to your home, this DIY project is a winner!
Here’s what you need for a Mickey Halloween Pumpkin:
- Styrofoam pumpkin
- Small black ornaments
- A black Sharpie marker
- Sharp Knife
- Hot Glue & Hot Glue Gun
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Start with the Pumpkin: I found a simple styrofoam pumpkin at Dollar Tree. It’s lightweight and the perfect canvas for a little creativity.
- Drawing Mickey’s Face: Using a black Sharpie, I carefully drew Mickey Mouse’s iconic face on the front of the pumpkin. Don’t worry about making it perfect—part of the charm is in the hand-drawn look!
- Adding the Ears: Next, I grabbed some small black ornaments, which also came from Dollar Tree. These are the perfect size to create Mickey’s ears. I simply attached them to the top of the pumpkin, one on each side, to complete the look.
This Halloween Mickey Mouse pumpkin turned out absolutely adorable and took just a few minutes to make. It’s a fun craft that kids and Disney fans alike will love, and the best part is that it cost only a few dollars to put together.
