Theme: Happy Birthday!!

I love birthday parties, but since I’m usually hosting them which means I’m running around all over the place… it’s always tough to get a good photo! I focus on photos of the decorations, activities and cake. Next time, I’ll focus more on the party kid:-)
This was taken of my little girl right before her friends came over for her 2nd birthday Dress-Up Tea Party. Hard to believe it’s already time to plan her 3rd party. They grow way too fast!

I’m excited about our pet category this week! This guy isn’t mine, but with me being from Texas… you don’t have to go far to find a pretty shot like this.

  5. I with you- I need to remember to stop and take time to take pictures of the guests at a party not just the decorations- Sometimes I think it would be great to have two of me- one to be host and one to take pictures =) {now that would be crazy}
    Great pictures-
    have a wonderful day

  6. I love both of these because they are in black and white yet you can still get a sense of the color of the tutu and the color of the sky. I really love elongation of the horse’s head contrasted against the board horizon–very neat!

  7. What a cute photo of your daughter. I have been looking through my birthday photos and wondering what exactly says it’s a birthday party (apart from blowing out candles or holding balloons and streamers, which I am sure there will be plenty of this week.)

    That horse photo is a classic. Something about it makes me want to laugh.
