Now more than ever, I want to spend time with my family. Baking is one of my favorite things to do with my kids during the holidays. If you love to bake also, then you will enjoy these great tips and holiday cookie gift ideas by Marian from Sweetopia.
Decorated cookies are fun to decorate and even more fun to give away. They make a perfect, inexpensive, home-made Holiday gift that few would not be thrilled to receive.
From the classic gingerbread man to marbled ornaments in traditional Christmas colors or pastels, the same royal icing recipe and decorating basics are used.
Adhere a ribbon with icing to the backs of the cookies, let them dry, and use them on your own tree or give them as gifts.
And if you don’t have too many cookie cutters, even simple lines of icing and a few sugar pearls on any cutter shape you have, can work!
Play around with the shapes and designs, and if you need to ship them to friends or family, you can find out how to here.
