Easy DIY Witch Pumpkin – Simple Dollar Tree Halloween Craft
This no-carve Witch Pumpkin is a fun and festive Dollar Tree DIY that’s perfect for Halloween porch or table decor!
Halloween decorating and painting pumpkins are a few of my favorite things about fall. I haven’t had much time to think Halloween decorating yet, but I came across my Halloween Witch Themed Porch photos of mine on Pinterest and thought it would be fun to feature my pumpkin witch again!
This fun witch pumpkin craft was a favorite of mine for many years! I made her with a faux plastic pumpkin and greenery. Using these Dollar Tree craft supplies vs a real pumpkin or plants makes it easy to decorate. You can use with this cute pumpkin decor each Halloween!

How to Make a Witch Pumpkin
What you’ll need:
- Plastic Pumpkin
- Plastic Green Pepper (Nose)
- Silk flowers or other plastic vegetables (Eyes)
- Twig or rounded stick (Mouth)
- Faux Ivy (Hair)
- Witch Hat & Broom
- Hot Glue Gun
This is a really easy pumpkin craft! Just hot glue the face and hair to the pumpkin. Then do the same with the hat.
How to Elevate Your Witch Pumpkin
Instead of just putting your new witch pumpkin on the floor, try getting creative!
I placed my witch pumpkin into a large flower-pot and arranged real plants around her to make her look less like a fake pumpkin and a part of a pretty garden setting.
Lean the witch broom next to her for the final festive detail.

Enjoy this cute pumpkin witch for many years! I’m making a few more this year. I think a couple of baby witches will be cute.
This easy craft would be perfect for a Witch Themed Party too! Check out these fun Witch Halloween Party Ideas for more inspiration.
Easy DIY Witch Pumpkin
Equipment
- 1 Plastic pumpkin
- 1 Plastic green pepper (for the nose)
- Silk flowers or other plastic vegetables (for the eyes)
- 1 Twig or rounded stick (for the mouth)
- Faux ivy (for the hair)
- Witch hat and broom
- Hot Glue Gun
Instructions
- Create the Face: Use hot glue to attach the plastic green pepper to the center of the pumpkin for the witch’s nose. Glue the silk flowers or plastic vegetables above the nose to form the eyes. Add a curved twig or rounded stick below the nose to make a crooked witchy mouth.
- Add Hair: Cut and arrange the faux ivy around the top sides and back of the pumpkin to create wild, spooky hair. Hot glue it securely in place.
- Top It Off:Place the witch hat on top of the pumpkin and use hot glue to attach it so it stays in place. If you have a small broom, glue it to the side of the pumpkin or prop it nearby for a finishing touch.
