Easy DIY New Years Eve Glitter Banner

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas! We have been cooped up in our home because of the flu and trying to get well, so I’m looking forward to New Year’s Eve and New Years Day!

I’m crossing my fingers that everyone will be well by then and I can have a few friends over for some fun.

I have already been decorating my mantel with a few printable New Years designs, in hopes that we’re all well by then!

My daughter and I have been practicing and playing around with the new props I designed. So if we’re not well by then, at least we can have our own party.

I celebrated my little girl’s high fever breaking with some champagne! (Sparkling cider for her.) That’s the great thing about printables. They are easy and you never have to leave the house for pretty decorations or simple designs to celebrate! Just print and cut.

How To Make a New Years Glitter Banner

To hang my Happy New Year’s Eve banner, I found some gold ribbon in my Christmas stash and made DIY glitter clothes pins. This is so easy to do!

All you need are some mini clothes pins, paint Mod Podge on the top and sprinkle with glitter. I always buy mini clothes pins in bulk, but regular sized pins will also work.

I went ahead and used some Elmer’s glue around the edge of the printable banner and sprinkled more gold glitter on them. I love how extra shiny my mantel is looking now!
