Enjoy Jill’s Fun Food Halloween Rice Krispies Treats…
There is something about Frankenstein that kids just love around Halloween! I have made so many fun Halloween treats & the most requested from my boys including their friends at school is always Frankenstein.
These Frankenstein Halloween Pops take just a few minutes to put together and also make a great edible Halloween craft that the kids can decorate all by themselves. You can also make a ton of these in no time for class parties at school.
What you will need…
- Kellogg’s Rice Krisipes Treats
- Mini Green M&M’s
- Chocolate Cookie Icing
- Edible Eyes
- Black & White Jimmies (sprinkles)
- Red Heart Sprinkles
- Lollipop Sticks
- Decorative Straws (Optional)
Start out by cutting one of the Rice Krispies Treats in half using a knife.
We always like to lay out our ingredients to make things quick & easy like this…
Press the lollipop sticks in the bottom of your treats. Attach on the mini green M&M’s on the sides of Frank & for both of their noses on the front. Do the same with the edible eyes.
Cut the point off of a heart sprinkle using kitchen scissors to make a mouth for the bride & then attached with the icing.
Squeeze on more icing for the hair.
Press on white jimmies on the bride before the icing dries to look like lightning. Make a line on Frankenstein for his mouth & then add the chocolate jimmies on top to look like stitches. Add a little more icing for the eye brows & also add a couple of chocolate jimmies on top of the brides eyes to look like lashes.
Let pops dry for about 15 minutes until set. You can place your stick in decorate straws or leave them as is.
This is such a fun and easy Halloween treat that the kids are going to love!
