Fall is here and it’s time for Fantasy Football!

Both my husband and Amy’s husband are fantasy football fanatics! A few weeks ago, I hosted a fantasy football draft party and thought I would share some of inexpensive ideas that anyone can easily do on a budget.

Many of these fantasy football party ideas would work great for any kind of tailgating or sports themed birthday party!

For a fun and easy idea, I covered the table with green turf from Home Depot. For around six dollars, this makes a really cute table covering.

We had to have traditional football tailgating snacks, chips, popcorn, pretzels and peanuts. Tags and labels are by BellaGrey Designs.

The realistic football cake was the one thing I splurged on from Sugar Dreams Cakes and Things.

I made Amy’s popular Hot Wings Chicken Dip recipe. This dip recipe is always a fan favorite for any party.

  1. These are great tips! This is just the kind of thing I’ve been looking for. I’m having a massive football party this weekend for all my friends and coworkers from Dish. We’re getting a keg, pizza, and a giant nacho sombrero! I have the Hopper hooked up, and moved all four of my TVs into our giant living room so we can have three games going live. One on each of its three, all while recording another on the fourth! There’s such a diverse group of fans coming over, I want to make sure everyone gets a chance to see their team in action! Thanks again!

  2. Awfully “frilly” for a football draft party; that would never fly with my husband’s league! Would be cute adapted for a child’s birthday party, though.
