Baked Brie in Boston (Recipe)

Baked Brie Recipe

Not only are we enjoying family and snow in Boston, but lots of great food!

My sister-in-law is spoiling us with her wonderful cooking and I thought I would share one of my favorite appetizers she made for us.

I didn’t realize how easy Baked Brie was to make. I think I ate half of the brie myself!

Baked Brie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Puff Pastry
  • Raspberry Jam
  • Chopped Pecans
  • Round Brie (with hard rind edge cut off)

Directions

Spread out the dough on wax paper, spoon on the jam, sprinkle some nuts over the jam, then add the brie on top of that. Wrap the dough around the brie. Turn over and put on a baking sheet. Bake at 400° for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

Another goodie I was introduced to this week was Ginger Betty’s cookies.

gingerbettys

Ginger Betty’s is a bakery dedicate to gingerbread  in Quincy, MA. Oh my goodness, these are the softest ginger snap cookies I’ve ever tasted, plus they are drizzled with chocolate. What’s not to love?

Look for more blogging from Boston later this week. Have a great day!
