I normally don’t get very sentimental over baby things. But as I took my son’s crib bedding out to photograph and sell online, I sorta did.

I designed this bedding myself. He was my first, I wanted something super cute and original for his room.

cute

I decided on a “Gone Fishing” theme because he would probably be fishing at his aunt’s pond when we visited Oklahoma.

This would also be a cute theme for a big boy room. I could re-use all my decorations for a lodge theme.

I spent so much time and money on this bedding. Plus it has sweet memories attached. It makes me sad to get rid of it, but then again… I really don’t need it. I have to let it go. Hopefully it will go to some other special little baby boy.

If you are interested in this baby bedding, please let me know. I’ll be putting it online to sell next week. Would love for it to find a good home with one of you:-)

$120 for everything. It cost me $800 to have made at a fancy baby boutique (gasp!) I know… I was nuts!!

Crib Set Includes:

  • Bumper Pad (very nice, high quality, removable for washing)
  • Matching Dust Ruffle
  • Crib Sized Quilt
  • Denim Curtains
  • 2 Sheets (One is from Pottery Barn Kids)
  • 1 Small Pillow Case (Pottery Barn Kids)
  • 2 Changing Pad Covers (navy & denim)

Shipping costs not included.

Yep… I’d say he’s out grown the crib, but the “Gone Fishing” theme still applies!

  1. I would have bought this in a heartbeat. We are finally having a boy this Aug. :o( LOVE this set! So sad it is gone!

  2. I so wish I had someone I could buy that for! All my friends had girls! I especially love that pic of you and him in the stroller where you’re looking at him but he’s looking at the camera … melts my heart!

  3. I am doing the same thing this week. Getting rid of bedding, crib, and clothes…they have been through both of my girls. As I pull outfits from boxes, I can so vividly picture each baby girl in them. To top it off, the youngest of the two starts pre-school tomorrow… *sigh*
    Bitter sweet.

  4. Sweet- I understand your feelings,
I wasn’t brave enough to get rid of all of it- I saved one piece of bedding for each of my children- then they got to deal with it.
p.s. you haven’t changed a bit- how do you do that?

  5. i think if your set on selling..as a seamstress, it is priced just right. but like Mommy of three , i wouldn’t sell either. but i am a gramee now and i saved things of my children to pass to their children. and they loved it! so good luck with that.

  6. Helloooooo from your sentimental friend in Oklahoma!! Don’t you think HIS baby might want it someday!!! DON”T SELL!!! 🙂

Okay… you are worse than me about saving things! ha! I actually have a really great quit that my friend’s mom made for him. So I will keep that because it’s extra special. Maybe my future daughter-in-law would like to use that. 🙂 -Amy
