Angie and I have this week off from going through photo entries, so instead of our usual photo challenge at I Heart Faces, we are participating in “Barefoot Week” to help bring recognition to Soles 4 Souls, a great charity that is helping others across the world with donated shoes.  If you have a few seconds, be sure to visit the Soles 4 Souls website to learn more about them, then head over to I Heart Faces and add your foot or shoe related post to help spread the word about this awesome organization!

I thought it would be fun to summarize my weekend with feet photos! We had a super busy time with a birthday party, dance recital and Memorial Day activities.

First, my mom came to visit and brought my three year old light up flip-flops that she won’t take off…EVER. That girl is obsessed with shoes already!

Then we went to her very first dance recital and saw lots of great shoes! (More details about the dance recital later:-)

My son’s Lego party was a blast! I’ll be working on posts for that soon. I can’t wait to show you photos.

    Memorial Day was also our second anniversary, so we took the long weeken das an opportunity to get away. We took a 4 day trip to the Cote d’Or in France, and it was amazing. I wish we were still there!

  18. Do you know where your mom found the light up butterfly flip flops? My daughter is obsessed with her light up sketcher shoes and I know she would flip over those!
