As a busy mom, I love simple birthday party ideas. We don’t always have to go crazy with party planning and decor to make a child’s day special. When I saw Katie from Sweet Rose Studio’s Cupcake Party that she hosted for her three year old daughter, I had to share!
Not only did Katie make it simple by using items she already had around her home, she also used products from my NEW Party with Amy Locurto Mermaid collection! This is the first time I am seeing the products in party action and it’s so much fun!
I love how she used my paper flowers on the cake. Isn’t this personal sized kid cake adorable?
I had the pleasure of meeting Katie when she stopped by my booth at CHA. She told me about how she had not planned anything yet for her daughter’s party, so I gave her some of my samples to whip something together last minute! She certainly did a great job.
My pink polka dot favor bags turned out super cute for her cookie favors. They are the perfect size for cookies too!
Since it was a cupcake theme, she let the kids decorate their own cupcake. This is the perfect activity for children. I actually did the same thing for my son’s Science Birthday Party. You can never go wrong with kids, cake and candy!
