Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to make DIY gifts. This year I created Arrow Pencils and Notebook Gift Sets, a fun and pretty way to highlight organizational items many of us get plenty of use out of especially with the new year upon us!
This DIY Valentine’s Day Arrow Pencil Craft takes just a few minutes to create and pairs perfectly with these free downloadable Valentine’s Day Printables by Amy.
How to make DIY Arrow Pencils & Notebook Gift Set
Items required:
- Cardstock (I chose a thick glitter cardstock)
- Scissors
- Hot Glue
- Free Printable Valentine’s Day Tags
Cut a strip of paper, approximately 6″ in length and 2″ wide. Cut slices into the small piece of cardstock making sure to not cut all the way through.
Repeat the same cutting technique on the other side cutting the other direction. Cut off any remaining paper leaving only the arrow exposed.
Pull up on the slices making the arrow even more obvious and attach it to the top of the pencil with a dot of hot glue. Using scrap paper, cut one single arrow shape to attach to the bottom of the pencil using a dot of hot glue.
Be sure to add the Valentine’s Day Free Printable to the outside or inside of the notebook and secure with stickers of your choice.
What a simple way to spread the love this Valentine’s Day!
