I’m back from vacation and excited to make some fun announcements! Over the next few weeks I’ll be making some much needed design updates and changes to my web site.
Not only will I give my site a make-over (see my updated logo above), but I’m happy to introduce some awesome and talented new team members to Living Locurto!!
It will be a blast having friends to collaborate with to make Living Locurto even more fun. Plus, I’ll have time to get more creative as well. Yay!
Meet Courtney – Party Stylist & Party Contributor
Courtney Dial is the creative force behind the party web site Pizzazzerie.
I met Courtney while in Nashville at Blissdom and we became instant friends! Not only is she creative, cute and perky in real life, but she’s super cool and down to earth. I’m excited she has agreed to write for Living Locurto and style some fabulous parties just for us!

With a love of entertaining, Courtney is quickly becoming a well-known stylist in the field of party design and décor. Growing up in the South, she attended Vanderbilt University earning both a bachelors in Communications and masters in Organizational Leadership. Since March 2010, she has grown Pizzazzerie.com into a go-to source for all things entertaining. Regularly appearing on Nashville news broadcasts, Courtney has also been published in several print publications including Nashville Lifestyles Magazine.
Meet Kristan – Fun Food Contributor
Kristan Roland is a fun mom with an amazing talent for creating super cute recipes along with humorous stories on Confessions of a Cookbook Queen.
I met Kristan through my foodie blog friends at Blissdom and her personality and talent won me over. Not only is she creative, but she crack me up. Bonus, she is from rural Arkansas and I’m from a small town in Oklahoma… so we have fun teasing each other:-) I’m sure you will enjoy Kristan’s writing and the goodies she shares with us!

Kristan Roland is a displaced housewife, living, baking, and blogging in rural Arkansas. On her blog, Confessions of a Cookbook Queen, Kristan shares her love of sugar and sparkle, along with personal anecdotes, which she usually serves with a side of sarcasm.
Kristan has no formal training, other than a few cake decorating classes she took at a local craft store. She is a firm believer in keeping things simple, and uses herself as an example that even the most imperfect people are capable of creating fabulous things in the kitchen.
Please give Courtney and Kristan a warm welcome in the comments below and give them your party and food ideas… maybe they create something fun with your suggestions!
Visit their blogs for more creative ideas. I can’t wait to work with these creative ladies on Living Locurto!
