Simple Toddler Tea Party – Cute 2nd Birthday Party Ideas
Friends, family, boas, fancy shoes, tutus and cake. What could be more fun for a 2 year old little girl’s birthday party?
Becuase two year olds are very active, I thought it would be fun to have a simple birthday party where the girls could run around and play. Dressing up is always fun for little girls!
Birthday Photos
Make sure to capture the moments before guest arrive while the birthday toddler is in a good mood. We had fun playing dress up and taking photos with family.
I made her a personalized shirt with an iron on number 2 patch, and dressed her in a tutu for our photoshoot before friends came over for tea.
Pink Party Decor
The Tea party decor was pink and purple with appetizers and cupcakes that were perfect for tea time.
I was excited to get out my silver and fancy serving dishes for the tea party theme.
Party Tip: For a unique look, use a large piece of fabric for a table cloth.
Party Play Activities
For extra fun, place a box of tutus, shoes, crowns and wands next to a large mirror for the party girl and her friends to play dress-up!
Want to save this for later?
A box of tiaras, feather boas, purses and shoes was waiting for the girls to play dress up.
Getting tea ready for friends to arrive is a busy time for a 2 year old!
Her two girlfriends were all born the same week in August. We had a lot to celebrate!!
mmmmm good…
Dress up time was super fun!
Opening gifts was even more fun. No tutu needed for this part. Ha!
Time to shed the tutu and say goodbye to friends.
Thanks Grandma for your help decorating and for the cute bags and play shoes! The party was a success!

Hi! Those invitations are really cute. Can I ask how you made them?
I was looking through your ideaa. I think we are going to do this for Mikayla’s 3rd bday. Either this or maybe a “rootin tootin cowgirl” theme? Have any ideas? We may be getting her a horse for her bday which is in Dec. Also, Jamee, 16 year old has to do alot of baking and such to leave in lockers (she is cheerleader) for football guys. Do you have any printable tags for something like that?
That is so cute. My girls weren’t girlie girls, but we had fun parties too.
You make me want a little girl. It looks like she had a great time.
