I Heart Faces – Family

We’re celebrating families with a “We are Family” photo challenge this week. Audrey Woulard is our guest judge. She photographs the images for Pottery Barn Kids catalog and teaches classes to photographers all over the world. We’re sure this will be a fun family week!
The Goulds are one of my favorite families! They were great models for us during the I Heart Faces workshop this fall. I like how relaxed they look in this shot, which was not so easy to capture with about 20 cameras pointing at them! I especially like the way Dan is looking at Stephanie and the boys with such love.
Shooting a family was my favorite part of our workshop. I really want to get out there and take more. Anyone reading this who lives close by… get your cute clothes ready and lets go take some pictures!!
P.S. Dan is on a mission trip in Mexico right now helping an orphanage. You can follow him on Twitter to see the exciting things he’s up to.

Sweet family photo… I love it! And the templates are just awesome. Darn it, I had to cancel my computer order (DON’T get me started on Dell!), so I still don’t have PSE. Anyway… LOVE your photo!

They were a very nice family for sure. And helping at an orphanage! You just gotta love that. Too bad I have NO understanding of tweeting or I would totally follow along on his adventures. : ) Someday I might be as tech savvy as you and Angie…or NOT!

I love shooting families! I love watching the interactions between each member! I also love shooting when they don’t thing I am looking! LOL! I get some of the best shots that way!
