Bake a cake, let cool. Put pieces of the cake in a bowl. Mash it up mixing it with a can of frosting.
Roll a small handful of mashed up cake into a ball, then carefully roll the ball on wax paper to make the Lego head shape.
The Lego connector on top is a small round marshmallow. I sliced up a large marshmallow and used a Wilton cake icing tip to cut out a small circle. You could also use a mini marshmallow cut in half, or an M&M.
Arrange assembled Lego head shapes on wax paper and stick a lollipop stick in the top.
Once assembled, freeze the cake pops. This way the cake will hold it's shape when you dip into the warm candy.
Fill a deep bowl with Yellow Candy Melts. Melt the candy in the microwave for a minute, then stir. Keep gradually heating the candy until it's creamy.
Dip the frozen cake into a bowl of melted yellow candy melts. Gently tap the stick on the side of the bowl and twirl a bit so the candy is smooth.
Let cool before drawing faces on them. You can use a piece of styrofoam to stick them into until you are ready for the party.
