I’ve been testing out things to make for my daughter’s Mermaid party.

Here is my first attempt at brownie starfish pops. They aren’t as pretty as I’d like them to be, but the kids didn’t seem to mind as they gobbled them down.

Look what I made with the leftover brownies! I call these Brownie Bombs. YUM!

I finally made cake pops, but instead of using cake, I used brownies.

I mixed fully cooked brownies with some chocolate icing, rolled into balls and froze them. I then put the sticks into them and dipped into melted chocolate chips.

Oh my goodness!! So easy and talk about chocolate heaven. This might be my favorite dessert EVER now!!!

UDATE: You’ll want to see how my daughter’s Mermaid Party turned out. She loved it!

  1. Hi! I was looking around for brownie recipes and came upon this. Loved all the mermaid theme ideas. Another great idea is to hire mermaids for the pool to play with the children.

I happen to do that for a living and is soo much fun. Check it out at: http://www.miamimermaids.net

    Cheers!

  3. My favorite is the “Oh noooo, Mr. Bill!!” starfish pop on the right! How cute are they? The possibilities are endless. Except that my boy has just, for some reason, sworn off of sweets completely. I’ve emailed his Sunday School teacher to see what mojo he worked on the kids today! I might just hire him as MY personal trainer if he’s all THAT… :<)
